2-11-2008 Blarg: This strip is unfortunately based on true events. During the week we normally get up early and feed the cats before we go to work, usually around 6:30. This becomes a problem on the weekend when we want to sleep in because their little cat tummies are conditioned to be hungry at 6:30. That doesn't necessarily jive with our weekend sleep schedule. Our solution so far has been to lock the cats out of the bedroom while we sleep, preventing Scout from dishing out any early morning attacks. It has worked so far, but now we hear occasional pawing and mewing at our bedroom door.
