6-23-2008 Blarg: Next weekend I'll be at the comic convention, Wizard World in Chicago. I'll be advertising for the Al and Scout website and selling an older comic I used to draw called Dullsville. My favorite part of the convention is checking out all the other talented artists, as well as buying comics at a huge discount on Sunday. All the vendors who set up shop are willing to sell their wares super cheap on the last day so they don't have to lug them back home. It's a win-win situation for everybody.
I'm putting an Al and Scout scrapbook together for display at my table. I felt weird going to Michael's and buying scrap booking materials. I felt the sudden urge to discuss my grandkids with the cashier; I ultimately resisted. Al supervised the arts and crafts session at home.

If his name is on something he likes to make sure it's quality work. (You hear that Al's Cleaners of Easton, Pennsylvania!) He ordered an official "Al's Stamp of Approval" seal from Staples. He waits patiently for the mailman each and everyday.
